Roaring alarm,outside's pitch dark,
Woke up rubbing the eye wax off.
Went for my bath, grabbed my shoes,in the dawny dark.
Jogged on the road, leading to central park,
Bleary blue sky, familiar faces,a morning spark.
A strange idea hit my mental chords,
Experimented my routine,i gave it a shot.
Unplugged my ipod, chose to hear the nature's lark,
Silent, serene peace was truly a amiss.
My ears started bleeding in total sturdiness.
With a bitch's growling and barks so hard,
Hid her little kids beneath her twin leg guard.
She growled at a man, then tawny white,
Who involuntarily kicked her baby knight.
Bleeding ears soon led to bleaking eyes,
Reminded me of my mother and a stupid street kid fight.
My eyes finally came back to my road,
A tiny little bird sat at my toe.
A big black bird flew him back on her back,
Just to teach him, one day to leave her back.
She chided the baby bird out of her nest,
And forced him to fly in the big sky ahead.
She pushed yet caught whenever he hit,
Until he finally flew and left her stiff.
My jog now a walk caught yet another sight,
A boy trying to pluck a rose at my side.
A scream came 'Ow!'a thorn and a honey bee stung,
Was their way of saying"It's ours dear son".
Thorns the defense, bee was the rescuer,
Saved the red rose from being toyed by a mere.
A few more steps led me to a huge willow tree,
Had covered the path with it's sun-dried leaves.
A few leaves left still battling with the winds,
Not leaving their home, their mother, their den.
Swirling and winding to their very own ben,
Few gave in,rest still putting up a strange ken.
A look above in the sky,Oh!how i resent,
I saw my favorite ice cream in clouds' drawing.
No ice cream i said, those calories needs some burning,
My watch then ticked, time to hit the office,
Jogged my way back home chasing.
The little jog taught me many virtues quite missing,
The love, the care, the freedom and courage.
Wise enough for my day to brighten,
Went back home,to my own little den.
Since then my ipod's gone down my room's bin.
Woke up rubbing the eye wax off.
Went for my bath, grabbed my shoes,in the dawny dark.
